Alternative data catalog — 95 datasets
Every dataset Obscura sells, in one place: 95 datasets and 1795 documented columns across 8 categories, all normalized to the same point-in-time schema. Each dataset page lists the full column dictionary and how to pull it.
How the catalog is organized
One row means one thing on every table, and one column means the same thing everywhere:
available_date is the day the publisher made the row public — day-of, no session rounding —
so a single WHERE available_date <= as_of filter is a provable no-look-ahead filter across
the whole catalog. Datasets with sub-day precision also carry event_time.
Delivery is the same everywhere too: a Parquet bulk export, or a typed JSON query API, both addressed by the dataset's table name. Catalog metadata and column schemas are public; the rows are subscription-gated.

| people | Every director and officer who files with the SEC, rolled up across the companies they file for: how many companies they appear at, how many of those seats are board seats versus officer roles, and the span of their public filing record. Keyed by the person's own CIK, so a name-spelling change does not split them in two. | 8 | Every weekday |
| spacs | Blank-check (SPAC) companies tracked through their lifecycle from the SEC record: S-1 registration, exchange listing, shareholder vote, completed merger or delisting, with the current status and the filing date behind each milestone. | 10 | Every weekday |

| border_crossings | Monthly inbound crossings at U.S. land ports on the Canadian and Mexican borders, split by mode (trucks, trains, personal vehicles, pedestrians). From the Bureau of Transportation Statistics. | 10 | Daily |
| congress_leaderboard | Which members of Congress have done best on the stock purchases they disclose: one dollar-weighted, one-year-forward return per member per disclosure year. Purchases are entered at the first close after the disclosure is public — never the trade date, so there is no look-ahead — and the fixed one-year horizon keeps the years comparable. A member-level score only: it is deliberately never broken out by security or by trade, and each row blends at least three purchases across at least three different companies. | 9 | Daily |
| congress_trades | Stock and asset trades disclosed by members of Congress and their households under the STOCK Act, parsed from House and Senate periodic transaction reports. | 18 | Daily |
| fema_disasters | Federally declared disasters with type, location and dates, from FEMA. | 22 | Daily |
